Storage and Bandwidth Limits
HostPapa offers 100GB SSD storage for the Start and Plus plans and then unlimited SSD storage for the Pro and Ultra plans. All plans come with unlimited bandwidth.
Extras and Inclusions
When you purchase a plan with HostPapa, you’ll also receive a website builder to help set up your website. The lower-tier plans (Start and Plus) come with a starter website builder, which allows you to create a website of up to two pages. The Pro and Ultra plans come with the Business Website Builder for one year, which allows for up to 1,000 pages in a website.
All plans besides the Start plan come with Website Staging capabilities, which allow you to work on the website without publishing updates. Plans also come with free email addresses, free domain registration and free website migration. For the first two plans, you’ll receive a free standard SSL certificate. For the Pro and Ultra plans, you’ll receive a free Wildcard SSL Certificate, which is a type of certificate that allows you to secure multiple subdomains under a single domain name with one certificate.
Ease of Use
HostPapa is easy to navigate and use. The cPanel layout is intuitive and allows you to navigate your account easily. The website builder makes it easy to set up a website once you purchase a domain name and the website staging is a helpful tool to have for those who need to set up multiple pages before publishing.
User Dashboard/cPanel
HostPapa comes with a cPanel that enables users to manage the features and settings of their website. The cPanel displays settings with the use of icons, and general information is displayed on the sidebar. The cPanel also displays statistics, including disk usage, email accounts and database statistics. The Files section of the cPanel includes plenty of helpful tools for managing your website, including a File Manager, Images and Backup. The use of icons makes the cPanel intuitive to use and navigate.
Security
All plans come with a free SSL certificate. More advanced SSL certificates are available for an additional cost.
HostPapa servers are set up with Imunify360, a security solution for web servers developed by CloudLinux, which specializes in offering Linux-based web hosting solutions. Imunify360 works to protect servers from a large number of security threats such as malware, worms, viruses and more.
The Pro and Ultra plans also come with the Basic version of Protection Power, which provides additional protection and malware scanning for your website and your customers’ information. Protection Power can be purchased as an add-on service for subscribers of the Start or Plus plan.
