InMotion is generous with its storage, as all plans except the base Core come with unlimited NVMe SSD storage. The Core plan is limited to 100GB, but this is also on an SSD.
All plans come with unlimited bandwidth.
Extras and Inclusions
All plans except Core come with a free domain name. However, even the Core plan comes with free SSL. You’ll also get unlimited email addresses on all plans except Core, which just offers 10—still impressive for a base plan. Other included perks on all plans are a BoldGrid website builder and unlimited subdomains.
Plans also come with UltraStack performance optimization. Core has two times faster speed and performance, while the top Pro plan goes all the way up to 20 times faster speed and performance.
Ease of Use
InMotion uses BoldGrid as its page builder, which means building a new WordPress site is a simple drag-and-drop process. Its cPanel also comes with Softaculous, which is an auto app installer that’ll take the hassle out of adding new features to your backend.
InMotion Hosting even offers a Launch Assist service, which grants you two to four hours of assistance when you’re setting up your website for VPS hosting, reselling hosting and dedicated server plans.
cPanel
InMotion is an official cPanel partner, so you’ll get a robust interface with powerful capabilities. All of your tools are listed in a menu on the left sidebar, so you can easily find what you’re looking for. You can add and remove email accounts, install apps with a single click and view error logs if you’re attempting troubleshooting on your own.
Security
InMotion offers a security suite for every plan that includes free 2048-bit encryption Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates, hack and malware protection and DDoS protection. You can also add automatic backups to restore your full site, a single file or an entire database with a single click. This costs an extra $2.50 per month for 10GB of backup storage.
